About Us

Rita Csada | Certified Professional Redesigner

Rita CsadaI was born and raised on a farm, along with two brothers, near Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan, Canada. I am married, and have raised four children. Now with an "empty nest" it was time to rekindle a childhood dream, owning my own business and enjoying what I do.

Our farm house was very simple and I remember spending many weekends re-arranging the living room or my bedroom. My dad was very organized and meticulous and my mother kept everything very simple. I know now that I followed in their footsteps. I always felt a need to be organized, and making sure everything had a place, and that there was a place for everything.

A few years ago, an interior decorating class was offered and I decided to take it. This class took place in our church basement which had a cement floor, dark wood paneling, unpainted kitchen cupboards, etc. We were encouraged to do a hands-on project during our course, so we decided to give the church basement a new look. The testimonials will tell the rest of the story.

I enrolled in Arlene Olson's course on Interior Redesign, and here I am today, a Certified Professional Redesigner of Canada.

Our business includes more than Redesign. We bring to the community some helpful aspects that we feel is needed. Estate Transitioning, Downsizing, landscaping ideas and color consultations are but a few of the extras we provide.

I invite you to browse through our website for inspiration and ideas or ways that we can help you or your family and friends. We hope this will motivate you to make a change, whether it is a redesign, moving into a new home, selling your home, a landscape idea, moving in or moving out.

My greatest joy is sharing in the happiness of a client who has benefited from our services.

Deb Kirschenman | Certified Professional Redesigner

Deb KirschenmanI'm a small town country girl at heart. I was raised on a farm at Duchess, Alberta along with my sister and two brothers. With gratitude I attribute, my love for the beauty of nature and warm country style relationships to my family, community and heritage. I am a privileged mother of two precious children who are the joy of my life. Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan has been my home for many years and I have grown to love this and the surrounding communities. The people are what make it so special. I hold dearly, the priceless values found within the family unit and among friends. I believe we were created to serve others by sharing the unique gifts we have been given.

For as long as I can remember I have been intrigued by "design" as well as the amazing creation of nature. I have good memories from my childhood of playing on the side of a hill, designing farm yards in the sand. In my teen years I painted and decorated my bedroom with bold colors. Then, when I got married, we were fortunate enough to build a new home on our farm in which I designed the kitchen cupboards and redesigned the floor plan to suit our needs and tastes. I also enjoyed the many hours I spent designing the landscape of the yard for our home as well as the retreat at the lake with the rock garden, paths and waterfall. A few years ago, after an interior decorating workshop, I had the opportunity of being a part of revamping the decor of the Lutheran Church in Gravelbourg. Rita and I spent many long, but fun filled hours on this project. I enjoyed the teamwork and the laughter, we shared. Before long many others pitched in to give us a hand. By sharing interests and concerns, as well as talents and abilities, the project was a success. Working together like this brings a rewarding sense of satisfaction and accomplishment. It was this project that prompted me to invite Rita to join me in a business partnership a few years later.

Next to family, my passions are designing as well as the art of redesign. I love to see what can be created from the things that are at hand and to seek inexpensive solutions with fabulous results. The redesign course I took equipped me well in this area. Other areas of this business also require creative solutions to difficult situations. Downsizing, Estate Transitioning, Staging, Redesign, and also the Ecochem products that we sell are a response to the needs in today's demanding and stress-filled world. As well, there are Additional Services such as color consultation available. This business allows me the privilege of helping ease the burdens others carry in their dilemmas. I have personally been amazed by the hidden blessings that can be revealed by choosing to work through difficulties, given the options available. It provides an opportunity to grow in character as well as spark creative and innovative ideas. Another passion I have is preserving, sustaining and restoring the natural beauty, and intended purposes of nature. What I love about EcoChem is that these natural, safe and efficient products are "designed with you in mind", "the way nature intended", for your benefit.

Having worked for many years as a Registered Nurse I have learned the value of considering each persons personality, interests, needs, abilities and background as well as their environment in promoting wellbeing. My career in nursing has reinforced the truth that "it is in giving that we receive". The people I have cared for have unknowingly returned invaluable experiences and lessons about the journey of life. I look forward to furthering my skills as I pursue this new career through the work I do, the people I meet and the continuing education I will be taking. Each day of our life, every situation we encounter and every person we meet provides an opportunity to learn and grow if we so choose to allow it. That's what makes life so exciting! Truly, "life is a journey, not a destination".

I am a Certified Professional Redesigner from the school of The Art of Interior Redesign by Arlene Olson. I am very excited about having this career opportunity and look forward to getting to know many wonderful people. My goal is to share my enthusiasm, experience and abilities in the work that I do to provide you with personalized services that are "designed with you in mind". I believe It's important to "add life to days not just days to life". My greatest hearts desire is your satisfaction. Achieving what is unique to your personality, interests and lifestyle is an invigorating challenge for me.
